WWII books or DVDs
«

Do any of you know of any great books or DVDs about WWII and Norway? I have found a few on Amazon, but I'd like to see what people with ties to Norway recommend. My mom was only a year old when the war ended, and she is interested in some history. I would also be interested in DVDs in Norwegian, they might have more in Norway then here?
Thank you,
Monica

Hi.
Have you seen the film about Max Manus?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1029235/
I know there are a lot of books, but I really can't think of any new ones.

Monica, what have you got so far? I could check with a friend who is into WW2-history.

I have not seen Max Manus, I found it on Amazon, so I'll probably get that one for my mom. Thanks!
I don't have too much Tommy. I saw Hamsun on Netflix and we got Hitlers Sunken Secrets. In books all I really have are kids books, Klipfish Code and Snow Treasure. I know my mom got a couple of movies from Norway that she wasn't too impressed with, I'll have to find out what they were. Thank you!!

Also, Max Manus is the most recent film (and I recommend it also).
