Einar Jentoft Johansen from Gimsøy, Lofoten, born 1890

Einar was born in Lofoten (Gimsøy) May 10th 1890 and became an US citizen Feb. 13th 1935, he then lived in Seattle, WA.  Does he have any living relatives in the US?  He was my g.grandfather's fosterbrother and visited him in Norway around 1950.  He was probably married at that time, or divorced.  Greateful for any help.

Washington State does have some searchable records. 
I found this Einar Johnson, with parents Johannes Larson and Thea Olsdatter.  This Einar seems like the dates could be close, and it is his death record. He did die in King County, which is where Seattle is located.

Thank you Taryn, but I'm afraid this is not the right Einar.  His parents didn't live in the US, he was the son of a single mom who from some reason or another was not able to raise him on her own, that's how he ended up in fostercare with my g.grandfather's family.  My g.grandfather (Edvard C. Boldevin) called him brother though, and as far as I know, he never set foot in the US. He lived all his life in various places in Nordland, Norway. The only official document I have found so far is Einar's naturalization in 1935, after that I have nothing.

Some records in the USA also include the mother's maiden name as a way of identifying a person.  What was Einar's mother's name?  That may help to know, when searching for him.

Einar's mother's name was Ida Nilsine Markusdatter, his father's name was Johan Ingvald Johansen.  He was from Sweden.  According to the church books Einar was "illegitime" (parents not married).

I have found out that Einar died in Los angeles in 1971.  in 1946 he lived in Alameda County, CA.  Still can't find anything about any marriage or children.  Hope someone can help.

The Einar Johansen that died in Los Angeles has this birthdate:

That doesn't match the date you gave originally, that
Einar was born in Lofoten (Gimsøy) May 10th 1890

But it is possible to send for his death certificate from California.

The only trace of Einar I can find after he became an Am. citizen, is in various voters lists.  He obviously moved around in Southern California (Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Alameda C, Orange C), but I still can't find anything about a marriage.  He supposedly had a daughter who's name might be Eva.  I have been searching through different genealogy sites, but still no answer.  Any tips?
